iCORE is an integrated data collection and graphical display system for drill core and stratigraphic outcrop sections.

It comprises a handheld PC running iCORE software, and PC-iCORE software running on a Windows PC. Description of the drill core or outcrop section is done by entering data directly into iCORE on the handheld PC.

The files are then transferred to the PC to be plotted and edited in PC-iCORE, making use of a full CAD drafting environment in PC-iCORE
